Seattle Fox station moving to new studios in 2026

Fox Television Stations has announced an agreement with Lake Washington Partners (LKWP) to lease the second floor of a downtown Seattle building for its new broadcast studios and production facilities, the company announced on Friday.

The building is Axis9, which was purchased by LKWP last year and has since undergone a significant remodeling across 321,000 square feet of corporate space. The building was originally constructed in 1990, and previously served as the administrative offices of Amazon, which occupied many of its floors before moving to another office tower in the same neighborhood.

The second floor of Axis9 will house a new, state-of-the-art news facility for KCPQ (Channel 13), which Fox acquired in 2020. The floor will also serve as the main newsroom for the station, and will include other amenities like a fitness center, full kitchen and terrace for weather reports.
